Work on the album “Фриковая дама” began after we mixed “Грустный эконом” for NAVAI. NAVAI called me right after our boxing session and told me the backstory of the album and the relationship it was built on. That conversation gave me a lot of inspiration for the rest of the mixing.
We mixed the album in just two months. It was a new sound for NAVAI, slightly rock and punk, so the project was an experiment for him and for us. There was a lot of searching: some tracks were closed very quickly, others had to be redone. A large team of producers and instrumentalists worked on the release, and Gera Bagirov handled the album's production.
We finished “Фриковая дама” in Moscow. The final listening session for the master versions took place at Bahh Tee's studio together with NAVAI's team and rapper Azizi Gibson.
