I especially like the Dr. Dre-style sound of the drums. I tried to use his techniques both in the work on transients and in the master processing with SSL compression. There is minimal space in the track: the sound came out American, in the aesthetic of the early 2000s, with a lot of bounce.
I finished the last revisions on the album, including “2017”, on headphones at the La Fabrique studio in Provence, during the Mix With The Masters seminar with Andrew Scheps.
