We made “LMFAO” in the aesthetic of the early American 2000s: minimal space, bright transients, and a bouncy sound. In the work I drew on Dr. Dre's techniques, including his approach to drums and to master processing with SSL compression.
I finished the final revisions on headphones at the La Fabrique studio in Provence, while at the Mix With The Masters seminar with Andrew Scheps.
