The album “Партизан” became one of the most important projects of our whole career. Work on it began in 2021 and wrapped up in 2025. Most of it was done in person, taking each track slowly and carefully to its final form.
Work on “Музыка рай” went unusually: several tracks were originally written over this beat, and we mixed one of them almost completely. Then the lyrics were rewritten entirely and the meaning changed. The result was the version that came out on streaming.
The hardest part was creating a viscous atmosphere in the style of dungeon synth while keeping the track listenable. We worked a lot on the vocal, experimented with pitch, with the space around the falsettos and backing vocals, and on the master we aimed for a pleasant tube-style clipping.
