“Бог войны” (Bog Voyny, 2022) — Husky. Mixing: Podlesny Twins (Pavel and Anton Podlesny).
“Бог войны” was the first mix for Dima in many years, after the album “Хошхоног” and the track “Песня для К”. Here it was important to create the feeling that the lyrics are being delivered by a soldier out in the fields. So for the space we used an impulse response of a forest and open terrain rather than an enclosed room, as we usually would.
The track has a lot of spatial effects and reversed reverbs. A certain funereal feeling comes from the kick, which sounds loud in stereo, almost like a shaman's drum.
