The album “Партизан” became one of the most important projects of our whole career. Work on it began in 2021 and wrapped up in 2025. Most of it was done in person, taking each track slowly and carefully to its final form.
“Ветром Снегом Зноем” is the album's closing track. It took a long time because there were so many vocal parts. We wanted it to feel like the intro to an old Soviet TV series about the police. While mixing, we put such series up on a big screen for inspiration and aimed for the strongest possible sense of nostalgia.
The biggest challenge was mixing the beatbox: a dry beatbox is not easy to turn into a convincing drum sound, and at the same time the track had to sit with the rest of the album.
