The album “Партизан” became one of the most important projects of our whole career. Work on it began in 2021 and wrapped up in 2025. Most of it was done in person, taking each track slowly and carefully to its final form.
While working on “Лимонка”, Dmitry gave no references, so I chose them myself. I wanted a dry sound in the style of Pharrell Williams and N.E.R.D., with clean transients and expressive percussion. I think it worked.
The main difficulty was making a large number of ad-libs, shouts, backing vocals, and different sections of the song get along. There were many ways to arrange them, and the tenth version went to release.
